You can find some strange shaped rocks in south of Lamai. The story says that an old couple ship waswrecked in the bay and that their bodyss were washed ashore to create theese rocks.

The Big Buddha is located in the northern shore. The Big Buddha was buildt in 1972 so that visitors could come and give respect to Lord Buddha. The Big Buddha are 15 meters tall.

10 km south from Nathon at Ban Thurian are Muang Waterfall located. Na Muang are two waterfalls. Na Muang 1 is about 18 meters and Na Muang 2 is about 80 meters high. Na Muang can only be reached by walking about 30 minutes.

Every Monday and Friday you can see Thai boxing in Chaweng Stadium and in Lamai stadium stages there are fights every Saturday.

The food in Koh Samui are well knoen for its seafood. In allmost every places in Samui lies a restaurant where you can order Thai food, european and other specialties. Dont forget to try all the tropical fruits and coconuts.
